last year's gong xi

Happy Chinese New Year!

This year's CNY was boring. Thank God mba Saras and Sari is in town, so I took them around Singabore. Went to bugis, clarke quay, cafe delmar (with Veby, Rere, Ratri, Aji, Giva and Iman tagging along) and blablabla.

Since this year's gong xi holiday wasn't exciting, I'd rather share last year's action-packed CNY! Me and two of my most absurd best friends, Ayata and Rere, took a super random trip to KL, Malaysia. We bought bus tix just a day before CNY (stupid, right?) so we didn't have much choice but taking the most expensive bus left and the bus departs at 6 in the morning!! We were afraid we'd overslept and missed the bus, so we went to the movies instead. Yup, we saw the 3 AM screening of that jhonny depp musical about the barber (I forgot the title). Then, at 6, we catched the bus. The bus was called Airebus. It was quite luxurious, with our own personal TV, snacks and shit. We saw this stupid Malaysian movie called "I Know What You Did Last Raya" hahahaha! We didn't get much sleep on the bus because we had to alight every few mins for immigration and piss and stuff. By noon, we were in KL, arriving at Mid Valley Mall. Rere's friend Adit was suppose to pick us up, but he didn't show up. So we took the taxi to our hotel at bukit bintang. The hotel was cheap and kinda crappy (what did we expect with 60rm/night hehe), but we didn't really care. We were soooo sleepy after 24hours of not sleeping, we walked around bukit bintang like zombies! Yup, we spent our first night in KL like we were on Night of the Living Dead! hahahaha..The next day, we went to KLCC, which was too crowded for my taste, and met Ayata's friend, Ariel. We took pictures, had some beer, went to the science center. I wanted to see the Aquarium but it was so packed, it ruined my mood. Then, we met my friend, Diandra for dinner and starbucks. Before going back, we ate some durians. I have to say, the second day was much succesfull then the first! hehe.
On our third day, we shopped around star hill, Diandra accompanied us. We had some drinks at Lecka Lecka later that night. Then, Rere's friends Adit, Akang, and Jenny came and hung around the hotel with us, shared some gossips and laughs. Our last day in KL, I seriously forgot where we went! I remember going to this mall with the rollercoaster inside, and this electronic chinatown-like place and ate this really good hainan chicken rice. By 5 pm, we were on the bus back to Singapore.

This KL trip was full of so many stupid and laugh-out-loud moments, I'll remember it forever! hehe.

LET'S DO THIS AGAIN GUYS, THAILAND MAYBE? =)
